Charlotte Stewart )born February 27, 1941) is an American film and television actress.[1] Charlotte is best known for her recurring role on Little House on the Prairie as schoolteacher Eva Beadle-Simms, which she appeared in 45 episodes of the series, beginning with the second episode of the series, "Country Girls".

Career

In addition to her role on Little House, Charlotte is also well known for her work with director David Lynch.[2] Stewart graduated from the Pasadena Playhouse.[2][3] Her first acting job was on The Loretta Young Show.[2] She has guest starred on many television series ranging from Bonanza to The Office and the recurring role of Betty Briggs on Twin Peaks.[2] She was also a prolific TV commercial actress.[3] Her notable film appearances include Eraserhead and Tremors.[2]

Her favorite "Little House" episode

Charlotte's favorite episode is Episode 412: Here Comes the Brides where she gets married to Adam and Nellie marries Luke Simms for a short time.[4]

Other than Little House, Stewart also played on My Three Sons, Gunsmoke, Bonanza and The Waltons.
