Laura finds out that she is pregnant. Caroline, who also believes that she is pregnant, finds out from Doc Baker that she is experiencing early menopause and can never have more children. Charles, heartbroken upon learning that he will never have another natural son, decides to take Caroline on a second honeymoon, and then they renew their wedding vows.
