Trivia[]
Victor French makes another special guest star appearance as Isaiah Edwards. Victor's performance is very dramatic and powerful as Isaiah in the story. Corinne Michaels appears as Grace Snider Edwards, replacing Bonnie Bartlett. (Michaels also appears in season four's "My Ellen", playing Eloise Taylor.) Although the real-life Almanzo lived to be 92, in this episode he is still shown to be recovering from a stroke suffered in "Days Of Sunshine, Days Of Sorrow" (e.g., walking with a cane).
This episode marks the final appearance of Mr. Edwards' soon-to-be ex-wife, Grace, and his children, Carl and Alicia.
