Following graduation from UCLA with a degree in political science, Robert moved to Washington, DC in 1988 and became a career Congressional staff member. After serving 12 years as a congressional staff member, Robert is now a government affairs representative for Invariant Group, a corporate advocacy and legal and legislative representation company whose clients include numerous Forbes 500 companies, which include Red Bull, FitBit, Toyota, and The Dish Network. Robert has worked as policy advisor and speechwriter for four U.S. Senators and California Governor Pete Wilson. He was legislative director for former Senators Larry Pressler (R-SD) and Mike DeWine (R-OH), and has made appearances on CNN, MSNBC, PBS, and National Public Radio (NPR).[2]
